Tiger Wood – For those looking for a hardwood flooring option that is a little lighter in color Tiger Wood is well worth looking at. The sapwood of tigerwood is brownish-white to dirty gray, while the heartwood is reddish-brown to light golden-brown in color which can impart a lighter, airier feeling when laid in a smaller room.
