You’ve accidentally dropped something on your carpet and naturally, your first instinct is to get something to try to clean it up as soon as you can. Creating a Dirt Magnet

Usually though at least some of the product is left behind and over time that detergent and chemical residue will become a dirt magnet; The spot will get darker and darker as it attracts more dust and dirt and the effect will not be a pretty one.
Imagine shampooing your hair and then drying it without rinsing the shampoo out. You are going to be left with a sticky, dirt attracting mess, and you are essentially doing the same thing to your carpets with one of these stain products.
